Job Description
You will be required to:
• Coordinate production workflow across all manufacturing departments
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
• Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production and install demand
• Ensure materials are in stock ahead of production need
• Regularly evaluate supply chain performance, quality and pricing to ensure we are purchasing from supply partners who deliver the standards required at competitive pricing .
• Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations
• Schedule overtime shift according to production and installation needs
• Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
• Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
• Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
• Prepare and submit status and performance reports
• Keep paperwork organized
• Collaborate with operatives, installers and departmental managers to ensure quality controls are implemented, measured and improved.
Essential Criteria – 2 years minimum experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment Desirable – Experience in the Sign / Display / bespoke joinery Industry – Clean Driver’s License
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
